The language centre is located in Akademgorodok (academy city), about 30 minutes bus ride south of the centre of Novosibirsk. The centre has an excellent range of very modern course books and teaching materials at your disposal and the library supports student's learning with a substantial collection of textbooks and other subject literature.

Computer facilities are also available in particular departments as well as paid-access internet rooms.

The catering service has two main refectories and several small outlets serving refreshments around campus and in the teaching blocks. There is a canteen for students, where they can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is quite diverse, the food is not expensive. Besides in Akademgorodok there are many restaurants.

The newly built Sports Centre includes a large gym and a soccer field, which is used in winter as a skating rink. There is also an all-year round swimming pool and a cross-country ski track. In the summer you can go for a swim in the river Ob.

After your lessons you will be able to relax with the other students and practice your Russian in a wide range of social settings. There is an art centre, a dance studio, a choir, a guitar school. The centre for international education programs organises different activities and cultural tours in and around Novosibirsk as well.
