Accommodation, St Petersburg
Each student that travels with AMBergh has the opportunity to choose what type of accommodation you would like us to organize for you. Accommodation is generally reserved from Sunday prior to the start of the course until Saturday following the end of the course. Extra nights before and after the course can be arranged at an extra fee.

Student room
The student accommodation is situated on Vasilevsky Island, approx. 20 minutes bus journey from where lessons are held and approx. 30 minutes from the city centre via public transport. If you book this option you usually share a room with another student. Bathroom facilities are shared with one or sometimes three other persons. There are kitchen facilities on every corridor. A café offering simple meals and snacks is located nearby.

Hostel
You can choose to stay in a single room, unless you specifically request to share a room with a friend, in the heart of St Petersburg. Bathroom facilities are shared between five single rooms. You will also have access to communal kitchen facilities as well as TV room. Given that the accommodation is so centrally located there is no problem finding any number of cafés and restaurants to eat at.

Family stay
For those of you wishing to stay with a Russian family you will be given your own room, access to shared bathroom facilities, kitchen, telephone and television. Breakfast will be provided for you every day. Living with a family gives you the excellent opportunity to practice your Russian in a relaxed atmosphere and to experience Russian hospitality and family life. All families that offer accommodation to students have been visited and approved by the University.

Hotel
There are many hotels of all standards in St Petersburg. We can arrange suitable accommodation for you according to your wishes.
